Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup

 Ingredients:

  • 1 Whole Chicken
  • 3 carrots, diced
  • 3 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 10 cups chicken stock
  • 2 whole bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 4 teaspoons better than bouillon chicken sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 bag wide egg noodles, uncooked

Directions:

  1. Cook chicken slowly on a pellet grill; 250 degrees for 3-1/2 hours
  2. Place all ingredients in slow cooker, except the pasta.
  3. Cook on low 7-8 hours or high 3-4 hours. 30 minutes before serving add pasta.
  4. Season with salt and pepper. Discard bay leaves.
