Cheese Ball

Tim and Bri LOVED this cheese ball. It tastes even better the second day so try to make this the day before your party. Enjoy!

  • 3 packages of cream cheese
  • 1 package of Buddig dried beef, cut up
  • 1 bunch of green onions, chopped
  • Accent Salt (to taste)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese

  1. Put cream cheese, dried beef, and onions in a bowl. Sprinkle with Accent salt.
  2. Then mix everything up and roll it into a ball.  Roll the ball in shredded cheese until it is covered completely.

How to keep sliced apples from turning brown

Want to serve apples at your next party? Here's how you can cut them ahead of time without them turning brown after a few minutes.  Cut the apples in slices and place them in Sprite (or any lemon-lime soda). Let them soak for 2-3 minutes. Then remove them from the pop and store them in Ziploc bags until you're ready to serve them.  It works great! And it doesn't change the taste of the fruit.

Homemade Mirror Cleaner

Do you have one of those mirrors that no matter what you do you get streaks after you clean with Windex? I do! But I finally found something that works.  Try this recipe!

  • 1/4 c. rubbing alcohol
  • 1/4 c. white vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 c. warm water

  1. Combine everything in a spray bottle, and shake well.
  2. Shake well before using, too, as the cornstarch might settle at the bottom (and subsequently plug the spray mechanism if it’s not mixed in well).
