Microwave Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Duncan Hines Angel Food Cake Mix
  • 1 box any flavor regular Cake Mix
  • 2 tablespoons water


Directions:

  1. Mix the 2 cake mixes together in a gallon zip-lock bag.
  2. To make the cake: take 3 tablespoons cake mix; mix this with 2 tablespoons water; Mix together and microwave for 1 minute. Let this rest for fifteen minutes and serve with toppings.

Acorn Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1/2 tsp vegetable oil (if needed)
  • 24 Nutter Butter Bites cookies (from an 8 oz bag)
  • 48 unwrapped Hershey's Kisses
  • 48 semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Place peanut butter chips in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at 70% power as per package directions. Stir in vegetable oil if stiff.
  2. Split Nutter Butter Bites. Dip the bottom of one Kiss into melted chips. Secure the bottom half of the Nutter Butter onto a Hershey Kiss. Dip flat bottom of a semisweet chip onto melted chips and press onto top of Nutter Butter. Place on wax paper to dry. 
  3. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Pull Apart Pizza Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of refrigerator biscuits
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2-3 ounce packages pepperoni
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese


Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Cut biscuits into quarters. Cut the pepperoni into smaller pieces. 
  3. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and toss so that the oil is spread evenly on each piece of dough. Place in a bundt cake pan or an angel food cake pan. 
  4. Bake for about 30 minutes (or until the top is brown and the center is thoroughly cooked). Be sure to check it in the middle before you pull it out. If the middle is still not cooked thoroughly be sure to leave it in another 5 minutes at a time until it's done. 
  5. Flip over on to a plate while it's still hot. Serve with a side sauce and enjoy!

Veggie Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 container Marzetti's low fat ranch vegetable dip
  • 1 brick cream cheese
  • 1 Pillsbury crescent roll dough
  • Broccoli, chopped
  • Red Pepper, cut in very small pieces
  • Matchstick Carrots
  • Cherry Tomatoes. halved


Directions:

  1. Flatten out the dough onto a cookie sheet with sides. Bake according to the package.  Do not over bake - 10 minutes should be plenty.Cool.
  2. Using a hand mixer, cream together the vegetable dip and cream cheese. Once the crust is cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture over the top.
  3. Top with cut vegetables.
